Shagufta Anurag, Founder and MD Space Matrix |
After graduating from the BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore, with a Bachelor of Architecture, Shagufa Anurag built the operations for an Indian Architect in Southern India for five years before giving up her directorship to move to Singapore. After working for a local interior design company for a year, Shagufta struck out on her own to start Space Matrix during the most difficult economic climate in 2001, building it into an established company with strong regional presence and strong reputation. Today, under her leadership, Space Matrix has presence in Singapore, Australia, Thailand, India and China. |

| Loren brings more than fifteen years of construction experience and an equivalent span of general management experience to the company here in Hong Kong and the region. The bulk of his experience and his specialty rests in the design and construction of telecommunications central offices, collocation centers, wireless networks and mission critical facilities. He has managed projects across the U.S. , Hong Kong , Thailand and China . Over his career, Loren directed site acquisition, architectural design, engineering design, general construction, and equipment installation for markets in Central and Western United States for a US $5 billion public company. Highlights of this experience include the construction and turn-over of telecom central offices, collocation centers and Data Centers from San Francisco to New York City . | |

| Malcolm Lai is responsible for overseeing development & construction projects for all AIG owned and leased property portfolio within the Asia region as well as investment projects. His involvement is from project inception to completion of the projects to meet time, cost and quality constraints. Mr. Lai possesses over 15 years of working experience in Real Estate. Malcolm has worked on a wide range of projects for AIG from a 39 storey office tower in Hong Kong housing the AIG Headquarters for Asia, to restoration of a 1921 building on the Bund, Shanghai, to condominium housing in Singapore, to office, retail and residential complexes in Japan, to fitting out office interiors in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia & India. | |

| From a niche beginning in Singapore , Steve transformed in 1999 an Australian interior design firm into DNA Global Design, an Asia Pacific wide consulting practice in the business of corporate interior space planning, design and construction on behalf of a portfolio of key corporate accounts. As a space strategist, he was instrumental in transforming a number of corporate workscapes, which facilitates best work practices resulting in enhanced office productivity. Steve's understanding of business processes and the application of technology into office workspace originated from his 5-year change management consulting with the Farthing West Group in Australia . Prior to consulting assignments, for 12 years Steve was employed in a variety of interesting industries and exposed to positions across most business functions. Due to rapid growth in the emerging economies, the DNA business now is predominantly focused in India and China. | |
