Claire Saeki, Managing Director
Publisher, RFP Magazine

A native Australian, Claire speaks Mandarin Chinese and has lived in Hong Kong and China for the last 10 years. While here she has worked for a multi-national publishing company, managed a team of B2B conference producers and participated in in-house marketing and sales in a range of industries.

Before conceptualising and launching RFP magazine, Claire had seen the corporate real estate industry from both sides of the fence: a brief stint in-house at GE working with the legal team on a commercial lease negotiation and appointment of design and build contractors as well as coordinating regional marketing and PR for a interior design and fit out company. Claire has long been a member of various industry associations and is now recognised as an authority on commercial real estate sector in Asia and is often invited to be moderator and panellist at industry conferences throughout the region.

Ben Butt, Director
Publisher, RFP Magazine

An instantly recognisable face at events across the region, Ben Butt has over 16 years experience in the industries of the built environment in Asia. Educated at City University in London, Ben has been an active entrepreneur and business owner in the publishing, conferences and human resources sectors. In 2004 Ben co-founded RFP Magazine, the leading publication for property, buildings and design in Asia, with a mission to develop a community, build a forum of knowledge and experience, and to raise the profile of these industries by providing informative, timely and relevant content on the built environment the pan-Asian region. He is also a Director of Facility Media and Goldcrest Asia Consultants.

Janet Middlemiss, Public Relations

Our integrated marketing communications division is directed by Janet Middlemiss a PR and marketing, specialist with over twelve years of professional experience, ten years of which have been spent in Asia .

Janet held the position of General Manager for integrated marketing communications specialist Impact Asia. In this capacity she was responsible for the provision of corporate communications counsel to a portfolio over 40 international and regional clients including the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Swire Air and PCCW.

Ashford Pritchard, Associate Director
Managing Editor RFP Magazine

As Managing Editor of RFP Magazine, Ashford has overseen the publication of Facility Media’s flagship title since February 2007 and is responsible for managing the editorial and production process for Facility Media publications. His duties have taken him across Asia Pacific, from Bangalore to Beijing, covering the diverse range of topics that affect the industries of the built environment.

In addition to his role at RFP Magazine, Ashford has also contributed to Facility Media conferences and events, such as the GreenBuild, Retail Space, Hotel Space and Mixed-Use Development series. He is the lead producer for The Architecture and Design Conference 2009 and co-produced Office Space Asia 2008.

A Hong Kong resident for over 5 years, Ashford holds a Bachelors Degree in Management Engineering and French from the National University of Ireland and a CIM Diploma in Marketing.
