Facility Media is producing a form of gathering that will inspire veterans to green building and energy efficiency while providing concrete usable information and contacts for those new to the industry or with a project in hand. We are partnering with a number of groups around the region to provide insight and collaboration. This will not be a conference where delegates simply sit and listen.  And it is not training that goes from instructor to pupil. It is also not just an opportunity to increase your web of contacts in the building and related industries. This gathering is will allow every one to have a say, will give everyone something concrete to take back for use on their own projects but most of all it is step on on the creation of a far bigger EcoCity project - one that all conference participants will have the opportunity to be a part of during the course of the conference and into the future.

We are now looking for experienced industry players in the following sectors:

• Energy - renewable, storage, management, smartgrid, feed-in systems, lighting, building automation
• Waste - recycling, urban waste systems, closed cycle products, waste to power
• Green space - green roofing, vertical greening, vertical farming, urban landscaping
• Financing - green building financing, government financing initiatives, green investors, affect of funds on green buildings
• Water - water availability, water recycling in buildings, rainwater collection and storage, grey/black water treatment and use
• Materials - sourcing, ratings, effect on IAQ,embodied energy calculations, construction procurement
• Quality of life - transportation networks, green urban planning, natural lighting/ventilation
• Standards and ratings
